THORMANN


Samuel, son of Simson, married Bonla, daughter of Meyer, lived in Unsleben, and had children: Meyer (1808), Simlein (1810), Simson (1812), Abraham (1812), and Ramle (1813). In 1817, when Jews in Unsleben adopted permanent surnames, the family took the name THORMANN. Samuel died in Unsleben in 1832 followed by Bonla in 1833. Their children, Meyer, Simila, Simson, and Ramle immigrated to the United States.
