Marcus SELTZER and his first wife Chave ZIEGLER appear to have lived in Suliţa, Romania (from which the SELTZER name was likely derived), and had four children: Isaac (1879), Betty (1880), Feiga (1885), and Libby. After Chave died, Marcus likely moved to Brăila, Romania, where he married Rebecca SCHOENFELD, daughter of Samuel from Russia, and had two more children: Samuel (1890) and Morris (1891).

Isaac SELTZER immigrated to the United States in 1900. He married Clara BUCUREŞTEANU, daughter of Munisch and Chave, in Waco, Texas, in 1902, then moved to Dallas and had children: Mitchell (1903), Katie (1904), Anna (1908), and Matilda (1912). After Clara died in 1936, Isaac married Lena ABELMAN. He died in Dallas in 1959.

Mitchell SELTZER married Ethel MELMAN from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of Harry and Celia nee SKULNICK, in Philadelphia in 1934 and had a son, Carl M. (1936). He died in Saratoga Springs, New York, in 1987.

Carl M. SELTZER, a sound engineer, died in Westchester, New York, in 2002.

Katie SELTZER married Marcus SOMER from Dębica, Galicia, son of Joseph FLAMM and Beila nee SOMMER, in Dallas in 1925 and had children, including: Shirley Mae (1931). Katie died in Dallas in 1979.
Anna SELTZER married Morris LEACH from Russia, son of Abraham and Edna, in Dallas in 1930. She died in Dallas in 1986.
Matilda SELTZER married Max KIRSCHBAUM from Missouri, son of Joseph and Devorah Leah nee MARCUS, in Dallas in 1930. She died in Dallas in 1982.

Betty SELTZER married Ancil KATZ in Braila in 1905 and then immigrated to the United States in 1908. She had no children and died in Dallas in 1949.
Feiga "Fanny" SELTZER immigrated to the United States in 1920 with her two daughters, Debora "Dora" (1905) and Carolina "Katie" (1907). In 1923, she married Leo FEILSCHMIDT, a tailor, who died six weeks later. Fanny died in Dallas in 1971.
Libby SELTZER married a man whose surname was DAVID, lived in Paris, and died about 1949.
Samuel SELTZER immigrated to the United States in 1905 and was a professional boxer in Dallas. He married Pearl WALD (1892), daughter of Harry and Esther, and had two children: Max Jack (1908) and Rebecca (1910). After Sam was stabbed to death by a stranger in 1911, Pearl married David SPURLING (changed to "SPELLING" in America) in 1912 and had three more children, including Aaron SPELLING, a well-known television and film producer and the father of actress Tori SPELLING.

Max Jack SELTZER married Claire Rose WILSON. He later married Loretta Wanda and died in 1975.
Rebecca SELTZER married Elmer A. GILLER and died in Dallas in 1978.

Morris SELTZER immigrated to the United States in 1908 and was a bakery salesman in Dallas. He married Lena WALL from Russia, daughter of Harry and Esther, and had children: Rose (1912), Katie (1916), Marcus (1923), and Samuel Zalman (1926). Morris died in 1967.

Rose SELTZER married Henry KLEPAK and died in Dallas in 1935.
Katie SELTZER married Joseph Aaron SEGAL in 1935 and died in Dallas in 2009.
Marcus SELTZER died in Dallas in 1973.
Samuel Zalman SELTZER married Clarice Marjorie CANTOR in 1947 and died in Dallas in 2010.
