FLAMM

• Joseph FLAMM married Beila SOMMER, daughter of Jacob and Malka nee GLASER, and had ten children: Mina (1890), Isaak (1891), Jacob (1893), Gitel (1895), Marcus (1897), Esther (1899), Mendel (1903), Feivel, Abraham, and Hersch. Some of these children used the maiden surname of their mother. Beila died in Dębica, Galicia, in 1909.
• Mina "Minnie" FLAMM immigrated to the United States in 1914 and married a man with surname DIENSTAG, who died soon after. She then married Albert KRAUS, son of Isaac and Ruth nee MILLER, in Manhattan in 1916 and had children: Bertha (1918), Jack (1920), and Leon B. (1925). Albert had a daughter, Ruth (1911), from a previous marriage. She died in 1979.

Marcus Flam/Somer	Isidore Flam

• Isaak "Isidore" FLAMM immigrated to the United States in 1911 and married Minnie SIEGEL from Romania, daughter of Elias and Kate nee BALLAMAIRD, in 1917. They lived in Queens, New York, and had children: Bertha (1918), Ruth (1920), and Lawrence (1928). Isidore died in 1984.
• Jacob FLAMM immigrated to the United States in 1911, married Helen THAU, daughter of Andrew and Sima nee RUDER, in Queens in 1922, and had children: Joseph D. (1925) and Bella F. (1926). He died in 1979.
• Gitel "Augusta" FLAMM immigrated to the United States in 1911 with her brother Jacob, married Solomon TANENBAUM from Debica, son of Mendel and Miriam nee FLAMM, in Brooklyn in 1920, and had children: Bertha (1922), Joseph (1924), and Bernard (1927). She died in 1990.
• Marcus FLAMM immigrated to the United States in 1908 and lived in New York. In 1917, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he began using the last name SOMER. He married Katie SELTZER from Texas, daughter of Isaac and Clara nee BUCUREŞTEANU from Romania, in Dallas in 1925, and children, including: Shirley Mae (1931). Marcus died in Dallas in 1978.
• Shirley Mae SOMER married Szmuel Lejb "Leo" LAUFER  and died in New York in 2012.
  
• Esther FLAMM married Roy GLICK in Manhattan in 1938 and died in Bronx, New York, in 1962.
• Mendel SOMMER immigrated to the United States in 1921 and married Dorothy STONE. Mendel died in 1989 followed by Dorothy in 2005.
  
• Feivel SOMER immigrated to Mexico around 1927 and is believed to have died in Mexico City a few years later.
• Abraham SOMMER had a son who lived in Canada.
• Hersch SOMMER was a lawyer and never married.

Israel Flamm	Pinkas Flamm

• Pinkas FLAMM, a milliner, immigrated to the United States in 1889, naturalized in 1898, traveled back to Austria and married Zypora "Celia" RINDER, daughter of Moses and Ester nee FELD in Tarnow in 1902, and had children: Mojzesz (1903), Camile (1909), and Bernard (1911). In 1920, his wife and children, Camil "Clarence" and Bernard (the elder having died as a child in Austria), joined him in the United States and settled in Brooklyn, New York. He died in Brooklyn in 1942.
• Sima FLAMM married Chaim "Hyman" RINDER, son of Moses and Ester nee FELD, and had children: Isaak (1896), Eva (1898), and Mojzesz (1904). Shortly after Mojzesz died as a child in Tarnow in 1907, Sima immigrated to the United States with her remaining children, Isaak and Eva, to join her husband, who had come earlier and lived in Brooklyn, New York. Hyman died in New York in 1936 followed by Sima in 1955.
• Israel FLAMM, a milliner, immigrated to the United States in 1898, married Celia, and naturalized in 1904. They had children: Isadore (1904), Jacob (1907), Rose (1908), and Minnie (1909). He died in 1958.

• Wolf "William" FLAMM married Sara KANNER from Tarnow, daughter of Benzion and Lea nee LAUFER, in Tarnow in 1902.  They immigrated to the United States in about 1906.
• Israel FLAMM, a barber and cigar maker, immigrated to the United States in 1902 and married Pollie "Pauline" FORTGANG in Manhattan in 1905.
