Nathan TUCH immigrated to America in 1837 and then settled in
After his wife died, he moved to California and settled in
San Gabriel. Here he married a Native American woman and owned a small
Alexander TUCH (1806), a grocer, was from Unsleben, Bavaria, immigrated
to America, and settled in Cleveland, Ohio. With his wife Jetta, he had
at least five children there: Simon (1841), Celia (1843), Fanny (1845),
Esther (1852), and Moses (1857).
- Fanny TUCH married Louis STRAUSS, a dry goods salesman, and
had at least two daughters: Della (1870) and Mamie (1878).
- Moses TUCH, who worked for Knitting Works, died in
Cleveland in 1905.
