METZGER
Charles A. METZGER
from
Hungary, son of Isaac and Ester nee SEIGER, married Ruth BENEDICT,
daughter of Abraham "Albert" and Dorathin nee LEVI, in Cleveland in 1917
and
had children: Irene Doris (1917), Dorothy B. (1919), Edwin Irving
(1921), and Elaine L. (1926).
- Irene Doris METZGER married Oscar Carlus ANDERSON from
Cresco, Iowa, son of Gust and Petra, in Fort MacArthur, California, in
1942. She died in Prince George, Virginia, in 1998.
- Dorothy B. METZGER apparently remained single and died in
Las
Vegas in 1999.
- Edwin Irving METZGER, a first lieutenant in the Air Force,
went missing in action in South Korea during the Korean War and was
presumed dead in 1953.
- Elaine L. METZGER apparently remained single and died in
Las
Vegas in 2004.
